I’m Varun, like “maroon” with a “V”.

I am the analytics and paid search specialist at Social Factor. My analytics responsibilities include setting up tools, reporting on performance, identifying insights and visualizing data for all clients working with Social Factor. My paid search responsibilities include setting up, strategizing, managing and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns for clients across various industries. I am Google Analytics and AdWords certified.

I previously was a community manager at Social Factor, working with clients in the healthcare, entertainment/tourism, non-profit and finance industries. While my responsibilities have evolved in my new position, I continue to serve as the community management team leader, hosting bi-weekly meetings to share knowledge resources and discuss strategies to produce great work.

I am a graduate of Texas Christian University, where I received a bachelor of science in strategic communication with a minor in political science. As an international student at TCU, I heavily involved myself in a broad range of student activities. I served as a resident assistant and an academic orientation student director. I also interned as an account executive in the TCU College of Communication’s Roxo Strategic Communication agency. I was involved in several on-campus organizations, with a commitment to impacting the student body for positive change. At the end of my college career, I was awarded a leadership medallion for my broad involvement and a senior legacy award for my impact on the campus community.

I have a broad range of personal interests, though they usually revolve around consumer technology, political theory and comic book superheroes.
